So we had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon just before Labor Day. Surprisingly there weren't a ton of people but overall we had a good experience. The service was good, but nothing stellar. For the small number of people in the restaurant it took quite a while for the chef to prepare our meals. My wife had the fish and chips and was very happy with it. I had the Waldorf chicken sandwich which was incredibly delicious and somewhat creative. The pizza looked yummy, but we didn't try any this visit. Prices were fair and the beer selection was pretty impressive. Overall, I'd definitely go back again especially since there really aren't a whole lot of choices in the area. I don't think if drive in haut to eat here, but it's well worth a visit if you're already in the area.

We have gone here for years.. But not very happy with this current staff. The service was awful. We met Friends there for dinner and asked for a table for 7, You would have thought I asked for a table for 20. We said we didn't mind waiting and played a few games of pool. When they said a table was ready they put at 2 tables next to each other. We asked if we could push them together and they said no. There was a table for 8 that needed cleaning but they didn't want to sit us there. So we sat down and then after a few minutes pushed the tables together. The hostess walked up, stops at the end of our table, and rolls her eyes at us. All we wanted was to have a dinner with friends with all the kids together. We had to get our own menus, they were out of mac n cheese, hot dogs, walleye and chocolate milk, on a Friday night!! We had to ask for bread, that came with our meal, multiple times.... It was like the entire wait staff was set against us because we moved a couple tables around...it took us 2.5 hours to eat our meal, And we left as soon as we were finished eating. Very disappointing. Very annoying meal with our kids who loved the place in the past. We are up here a lot, and we wont be back. Also the waitresses were wearing borderline offensive Tshirts... On the back it said we are Hookers on the weekends.. I really didn't find them very funny.

Expensive beers, terrible service to start. We walked in to captain Morgan's for a late night beer, from the moment we walked in the door every person in the bar stopped what they were doing to size us up. It was not a very welcoming experience. The bar tenders seemed uninterested in serving us and spent most the time socializing with the locals rather than doing their jobs. I would not recommend visiting this bar.

The place recently changed hands but it's still great. Been going there for years. Went for dinner last night and had a really good perch sandwich. Good tartar sauce and fresh toppings. We also had a hangover burger - a great bar burger with a fried egg on top and great seasoned sweet potato fries. Yum! Good selection of cold beer. Chatting with the bartender and the manager was fun and we learned too late about their double shot Bloody Mary. Will have to make a follow up trip for that. The waiter was nice, but when asked, he told us the specials were 1/2 price appetizers. Nothing about the blackened mako with pineapple salsa or the stuffed pepper soup. Could've doubled our tab, but weren't told. A missed opportunity like that in a short season is a mistake if you're in food service. But, his loss I guess. Our experience was great. Outside seating is available on nice summer days.

Unfortunately we didn't eat here. Went for a few cold beverages Saturday night. Wish we had eaten here - the pizza's were flying out the door and they looked great! Sat at the bar - I highly recommend going here even if your not eating - the owners and people working here are super friendly and make you feel like you have been coming here your whole life!! Definitely stop in.. Next time in P A will definitely be going back..
